36W lite

Post by mak »

hi
Can anyone point me to info on 36W lite details?
I know it has been discussed here many times, but a search doesn't come up with anything useable.
I'm after more power/headroom for a giggable rockabilly amp
Many thanks

Just leave out the EF86 channel for a lite.

thanks Chis-that looks pretty good- did you build it?
I was planning a 36Lite using the Trem channel, Vol/Tone as per classic, and 6v6's, as my 18W 6v6 sounds really nice.
Thanks again

Hey Mak,
I built it without the trem, but stayed with the EL84's, I did add a Cut knob on it like a Matchless,
Love mine Dude, Wish you the same on your's,
Boo

I'm looking into building one at the moment. So if I can just confirm that it's OK to do the following :-

Use the pre-amp from an 18watt lite11b up as far as the PI and the power stage from PI onwards from the 36watt standard schematic. With power rails tweaked to give the correct voltages.

Thanks

Martin
