Building a lite IIb with EL34 . 360 volts on the plates. What do you think my output wattage will be? Trying to choose an OT and was thinking a 25 watt deluxe reverb OT would work.
Thanks , Dave

depends how you bias the el34, ive built
a couple el34 liteIIb type amps and they are
excellent amps, ive used bigger iron than
deluxe iron (8k 25watts) you could only bias them el
@ 12 watts or so which i tried but they did
not sound great till i biased them hot, the delux iron
may limit you, i used a 50watt classictone ot it
sounded very good, but i also used a 6.6k vintage
organ output transformer and it sounded real good
id think you want to get more like 400v on the el34
plates but it may sound good mark

Two things:
(1) an 18 watt has a larger OT than a Deluxe Reverb, an 18 watt OT is about the same size as a Fender 40 watt OT ...

(2) I'd think that a transformer designed for a 6V6 will have way too high of reflected impedance for EL34's
