Svetlana Tube Descriptions

Post by kd »

At several of the musical supply houses I've seen the descriptions soft/red, medium/green and hard/blue applied to some of the Svetlana tubes. Anyone known what this means as applied to the tubes?

Its probably the rating for the biasing of the tubes. Tubes with lower biasing are easier to overdrive. Tubes with higher biasing points are harder to overdrive.
