Hi and Lo Fender Input Jacks
What are the differences between Hi and Lo jacks on Fender amps? I noticed that the 2nd instrument jack is lower in volume then the 1st instrument jack, and the first one is higher in volume....which one is typically used?
Thanks

The short answer is that the Lo input only allows half of your pickup's signal to enter the amplifier. The other half is sent to ground. That is why you experience less power, and as a result, less volume.
