SPST switch as power switch
Hey guys,
is there any reason not to use a SPST switch as the power switch? I mean it like this, using a non-center tapped PT:
Mains Live to fuse, fuse to On side of switch
Mains Neutral to one side of the PT primary, other side of the PT primary to Off side of switch.
Secondaries then to the rectifying diodes, no standby switch.
Thanks for the help, I only worked with DPDT switches and want to be sure.
Cheers
