This sounds great Richie, where did you get it?

Can you give the title verbatim and I'll look it up on the web.

Cool!

I had loaned a fender book to a friend, and when he brought it back,he gave me this copy..

its Guitar Player Icon Series

the Marshall Amp

Can't miss it, the front cover is a Purple Marshall half stack..and little inside clip pic of hendrix..

I didn't see it on the web..but just a mention of it beign out..
i'm sure they know something of it on GP site.

Lots of great pics..and info about Jim..and alot of the people that worked or used marshall amps.. quite a bit of history..

These Icon series showcase things like amps, or guitars..etc..they are about half the size of the normal GP mag.. thickness..lol

They list the 10 most desireable marshalls.. I won't list them,so you can read it later..lol

Says its 5.99 USA..

That can't be it. Those links take you to a biography of Jim Marshall, which although a subject of interest, isn't the "Marshall Amp", with a picture of a purple half-stack on the front cover...

I found it at a news stand here in NYC last night. They only had one copy, though, and that was right in the music district!
