Now that you've built your sound...

...and your 18 watt amp sounds so-o-o-o good, what are the three (PLE-E-E-E-EAZE, only three) best sounding songs that you play? I'd like to give people who have not yet been assimilated a sense of what our lovely little monster does.
My three are (for this morning, anyway).
Vehicle -- The Ides of March (1969)
Tush -- ZZ Top (1975)
Heart Attack and Vine -- Tom Waits (1980)

I figured that we've talked enough about the equipment so we should talk a little about the reason the equipment exists, eh?

I love my 18watt for playing Jimi Hendrix "Hey baby",, but I like most improvisation in different style from funk to african soukous, manden, blues, reggae with this little tone monster.

Usually something by ACDC. By something I mean every ACDC lick/song that comes to mind :)

Sometimes some Chuck Berry on 'roids and a few times some Country licks.

I'd say I'm a much better solder slinger then a guitar slinger but i do like the way Mississippi Queen has started to sound in the past couple days. And like JohnnyCrash said anything AC/DC, pick up the guitar hit a chord or note and what... it's the beginning of something AC/DC has done.

Gary Moore has recorded Eyesight To The Blind from his Close As You Get album using Orange Tiny Terror and coupled it with a Marshall 2061X with its 2x12 combo - but i'm sure you can get there with a 18w as well.

I didn't know that Gary Moore recorded it with a Tiny Terror. I am sure he would sound great through anything. However, you can hear the fuzziness at the start of that track and then throughout that is characteristic of the the TT. Sometimes that lends a nice edge to the sound but other times it sounds just too fuzzy. Same with a lot of Rory Galagher through his Vox's.

Shame he didn't use an 18Watt.

Gee Just about any classic Rock works.

Any Bad Company seems like a great choice.
Any Duane Allman (Slide sounds great on an 18watt)

Hmm ... So how about -

All Right Now Bad Company
Don't Keep Me Wondering Allman Brothers
Aqualung Jethro Tull

Lots of tones possible with my Lite II / Strat / Les Paul...here's three our band plays:

Pretenders - Back on the Chain Gang; low input, vol=5, tone=7, using a strat split between bridge and mid pickup. Some light delay and light chorus from my old CE-2

Tom Petty - Listen To Her Heart; same setup as above.

Ramones - Beat On The Brat; hi input, vol=8, tone=6 using a Les Paul on the bridge pickup.

For some reason i find if i put volume quite low - 2 or 3 and play my Strat - i get fantastic Little Wing tone, and when cranked it does nice Highway Child. It's a mini Hendrix amp if you ask me!

Other stuff... well (all with a Les Paul)

Strange Brew - Cream
Baby Please Don't Go - AC/DC
Show Business -AC/DC
Hard Times - Gary Moore
