Stage Right

Post by Weldaar »

I just picked up this Stage Right 15 watt combo. I gotta tell ya, this is one sweet sounding amp. The price went up to $229 at Amazon, but worth every penny. I compared it to a Blackstar HT20 and I will take the Stage Right over it anyday. Only single channel though, but most songs my band plays I can get away with one channel. The speaker could be a bit better, so I might be swapping that out soon.

Just my opinion though.

I will however give the Blackstar props for their clean channel.

Its difficult to see how monoprice can make a profit selling these so cheaply. Seems like a steal. A guy on TDPRI forum says this amp is based on the Laney cub 12R circuit. Lucas Fowler has a nice demo on YouTube
