Hiwatt_custom_20_tube_.gif
have a look at this schematic lads,i'm used to seeing coupler values in uf,nf and pf.am i right in assuming that;
102=10n or .01uf
223=22n or .022uf
473=47n or .047uf
470=470pf

I assume the same. But Geoff... you wind up in the strangest of places. A hiwatt?😄

Yeah ignore the phase/power section,i’m looking at that preamp especially the passive/series effect loop with the 1 triode buffered signal into the master volume,now could that go into the 18W LTP without problems?

This is something the more experienced will advise you on.. but I'm intrigued, so I will watch the threads

Close, but too much guessing.
102 = 10 + 2 zeros in pF = 1000pF = .001uF
223 = 22 + 3 zeros in pF = 22000pF = .022uF
473 = 47 + 3 zeros in pF = 47000pF = .047uF
470 = 47 + 0 zeros in pF = 47pF = 0.000047uF

Why not?

Thanks Josh, the last digit = zero’s makes sense now you’ve explained.
