Jeff
Jeff,

That is a good idea. It could provide an enclosure at a fraction of the cost of a typical head cabinet. I have put a little thought into that concept over the last couple years but I haven't prototyped anything just yet.

A GDS lunchbox head would be a cool thing indeed...

Got the cab from the fine folks at Stage Craft:

It was a special order built to the GDS S/C Chassis Spec....
Thats where the 1x12 is coming from also...

Wow! Boy am I glad this thread got resurrected! Beautiful cab, by the way. Anthony does do exceptional work, no doubt about it!

And nice work on the amp, too! Especially your routing of the filament heater supply directly across the PT. I'm finally starting my own SC18 project and was mulling over the options. That'll do nicely, thanks!

Yeah - I hope to do that soon....
I recently picked up a Fulltone Fulldrive II so I can get some OD tones at lower volumes and was very happy how well the GDS takes pedal up front.
I also have a MI Audio clean boost pedal that kiks it into a whole other gear.
M29 broght over a custom 'Screaming Yellow Zomker' boost / OD pedal and that was fenominal.

Of course it sounds great by itself, but with it being a single channel its nice to have a few options.

I'll try to do a bunch of short examples w/ and w/out the pedals....

The 1x12 arrived today...
Grill was a bit darker than I expected but cool none the less.
Also, I added a personal logo, tried to capture the Marshall spirit...

Hey Dan - if we get you over to jam, bring this amp over. I'd love to hear it.

Been a while but I finally did some clips....
I was after some clips of the new Suhr SSV pups in my Carvin CT624.
Just so happened that the GDS 18 watter is what I recorded these with.

There is a bunch of gear clips in this link, the title pretty much describes the content.
