Carling SPST toggle switch On/Off Position

Well here is the next hurdle!! I can seem to find any info for which position is the "on" and which lug is the input for the Carling SPST switch for my 18 watt build. What am I missing???

There is no input on a switch. The switch is either connecting something or not based on the switch position. If you're not sure about which direction is on, use a multimeter with a continuity test. If there's continuity, that's the on position. Off won't have continuity.

Any SPST switch is either open or closed. You can test which position is which with your multimeter. Your wiring will determine the in and out, not the switch.

Someone here probably knows off the top of their head. However, you could Google the switch number and see if Digikey or Mouser have a datasheet.

You have a multimeter? Set it to Ohms and test the switch.

When you are holding the switch in your hand with the leads pointing downward, switch up is on and down is off.
