Problem with Tremolo 18w

Post by mitchfloyd »

Hello, I noticed that the Tremolo 18w when set to maximum volume has a slight decrease in volume. I don't know if it is a defect or is it typical? Thanks.

How can you really tell? It’s half mute and half sound. I haven’t noticed this phenomenon with the 18W though. It’s a real PITA with optotrem amps such as blackface F€nders

Do you mean maximum volume, the overall volume dips a little after it reaches its peak as you turn the pot to 100% (for example, highest volume at 90% turn)? Or do you mean perceived volume loss with maximum tremolo?
