BEST way for the OT
I think running the OT wires right underneath the trem section and next to the trem tube has probably caused me some lead dress problems...possibly what is causing some cross contamination between channels. It probably won't get fixed on THIS amp as the wires are all cut...althought you never know...
couple questions...
1) what tubes is it BEST to run the OT wires by and into the selector.
2) is it best to run those leads on the outside of the chassis and bring it in right in front of the switch?
3) how about the trem switch and speaker jacks? Are there better places to have those?
4) is there a template out there for the REAR plate?
Well...as it stands I have a great working amp...the boodle mod has taken away the pop...but brought up a few other issues...all of which I can live with. I know in the future I want to try the PI mod and coax some voxy tones out of it...but for now, I think its time to play this one, and start building the NEXT one
