shielding foil in your heads?
Some do, some don't. Is it really all that effective?
I know shielding works well in guitar cavities but is it really necessary in an amp head? If so, what do you use for shielding?
One of my hand-built (booteek) heads has aluminium foil - looks like a squashed baking tray!
Cheers ...

Stewart MacDonald has copper shielding paint, kinda pricey, but perhaps a more elegant method of doing the job than Reynolds foil.

Personally I think their products are priced in "Ripoff" range, if someone knows of a similar product for cheaper please post it here.

I'm cheap. I use heavy duty kitchen-type aluminum foil. Tear the foil against a straight edge to size. Smear Elmer's glue on the wood with a bit of cardboard as a squeege. Then apply the foil and rub it down with a rag. Works great. Almost free. No nasty sharps to cut yourself on.
Nothing wrong with the other things people suggested except cost and sharp edges.
