Directions to install a Marshall headbox handle
Can anybody tell me how to do this? It has a wood screw and a T-nut with machine screw for each side of handle. Where does each go in relation to the slot on the handle?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Directions to install a Marshall headbox handle
The slots let the handle lay flat until you slip your fingers underneath to pick it up. Place the handle on top of the cab in the location where it will go. Do this without the other hardware. Mark the inner ends (close ends) of the slots and drill the holes there. Drill them nice and vertical so the hardware fits well.
Check the spacing carefully. If the holes are too close together the handle won't lay flat and if the holes are too far apart won't be able to get your fingers underneath to pick it up. Drill the screw-sized holes first then go inside to counterbore slightly larger and just part way through for the T-nut. You could skip this step but the T-nut would be hard to seat properly.

Thanks KennyO. I ended up getting explicit directions with photos from Jeff Swanson.
