Need 1/4" female TS speaker jack for speaker cabinet

Post by zappacat »

I need a 1/4" female TS speaker jack for a stand alone speaker cabinet. Any suggestions? Most of the ones I've found so far don't seem to have a long enough barrel to make it through the back side of the cabinet. Maybe I'm not searching for the right thing. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance.

If you google "switchcraft 1/4" thick panel jack" you'll find it. Here's the link to Switchcraft's page: http://www.switchcraft.com/productsumma ... Parent=884" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Part #151 is what you're asking for but any of the others will do since you'd just ignore the ring connection. Check at several vendors so you don't overpay for the shipping.

Look for Switchcraft #11... 11A is pretty standard, and FAL11 might be longer. Mouser or Allparts are good sources for the 11A, I don't know who else carries the FAL11 besides Mouser.
