36w loud enough? Oh hell yeah...

OK,

I asked a week or so ago if a 36w would be loud enough because my 5D8 20watt Twin head I built didn't "sound loud enough"...

Well, I finally brought the Twin to practise and 20watts is JUST ABOUT PERFECT... therefore in a big open room (AKA a show) should be slightly NOT loud enough, but most places in Southern California mic up amps these days...

Now I'm worried the 36w will be TOO LOUD!

My AC30 is not much louder than my 18 watt. Just a little punchier & cleaner.

I think a Marshall 18W style amp is likely louder than your 20W tweed amp, depending of course on speaker and how much crunch you like.
