Let's say I am a crazy bastard... and I wanted to ADD a tremolo to one of the 2 channels on my 36w TMB. I would add the Intensity and speed on the back of the amp and have a footswitch to turn it on and off...

How hard would it be?
Do I need to add a tube?

probably not THAT hard. but far easier to do it with a pedal

TR-2 only costs like $40 and sounds good.

you would have to add 1/2 of a tube at least, as well as quite a few extra components. it will present layout challenges to say the least considering you are already using the whole board.

You could do a "bias-wiggler" tremolo as used in the Princeton-Amp, Princeton Reverb-Amp, or Vox Cambridge/Berkeley. Then tack on an extension chassis sort of like the Vox Top Boost add-on.

This would affect both channels though.

yeah...I may have just a touch of OCD...there's an oxymoron for ya...slight OCD.
When I get into something I get RIGHT into it. It's been car this and car that...instead of checking guitars and amps on ebey I been checking turbos and stuff.
Instead of checking-in here, I been at the car forums.
I got a girlfriend and...well...I moved her in.
Please ...no speaches or condolences.
Like I said in another thread, been doing a LOT of playing ...just no tweeking .
Bar season is soon upon us though and so it's time to get (finally) the 36w working properly (WITH 1/2 popwer switch).
It's grocery shopping time right now though so...probably tomorrow I'll start bugging everyone for the latest layout and mods and info.
