On the original 18-watt schematic, specifically the one that is in the Doyle book with the "1958" label on it, it shows a 3 wire AC cord which what I think is the ground switch before the PT.
If I'm reading this correctly, the switch routed EITHER the neutral or the HOT through a high voltage, low capacitance cap to ground. And the switch can be in either 1 position of the other, meaning 1 of the leads is routed to ground.
Is that correct?
