I found my contact, if anyone wants it.
Scalars are nickel strings made by Dean Farly. There was a lot of talk on these strings on the plexi forum and it seemed people loved them. They are a vintage but lively vibe I think. Sounds interesting!
I've ordered a couple of sets of SCALAR 010 - 048 ; as well as some Pyramids and some Thomastik strings.
Time to try out new brands.
