Had a problem with some rattles in my Lite IIb. Seemed to come from the tubes. After some searching here and hearing over and over the praises of Sgt. Overdrive, I decided to search him out. Ordered some RCA EL84s and an NOS EZ81. 3 weeks go by and no tubes. Shoot him an e-mail. The tubes had been out of stock - he said they would be shipped asap. 3 more weeks, no tubes. Shoot another e-mail. I'm starting to think I got hosed. He replies and said they shipped - must be lost. Says he'll ship another box....

The sarge is great. I just got new tubes for my Trinity SIIIv6 from him. Raytheon blackplate and GE 12AX7's, american NOS rectifier and 6n14n-eb's.
The 12AX7's replaced a set of Ei's. The blackplate is in V1, the noise floor dropped noticeably and now I know what people mean when they say the amp "sounds like you took a blanket off of it".
