Ive built something simliar it was a 2204 preamp into mark huss' 6v6 plexi's poweramp. It sounded really good but i took it apart to re build it into a new better looking chassis and havent gotten around to it. I dont remember where i got the layout for the preamp but the poweramp layout and schematic are at his site here. http://mhuss.com/Plexi6V6/index.html

It's just a 2204 with some mods for more gain and removal of the treble peaking circuit.Some guys just have the high input,but I like having the low input for clean strat tones.
Go to Thundertweaks and they have a hotrod 2204 layout.I don't go as far as they do,but leave some room for cleans.
As soon as I can I'll post some clips.I have a friend with some rack recording gear and he is busy right now.Believe me,this amp is killer sounding!I used my own version of power dampening that I want to let stand the test of time before I share it with you guys.Nothing original,just a little tweak different.I want to make sure it doesn't melt anything before I post the schematic.
