I need cool 12ax7

Hi guys i was searching the ebay to find some nice 12ax7 and came to some Valvo EC83 - i've heard that Valvo's are similar to Mullard, but is EC83 the same as ECC83 - the only thing i know is that it's made in Germany...

I've seen those EC83's on Ebay too. Seems strange because I can find no reference to an "EC83" anywhere else! The nearest I've found is an EC81, but it is nothing like an ECC81! (More like an ECC82)

So I'm guessing that although the "EC83" (if it really is that) probably isn't anything like an ECC83.

An "EC83" would be a single triode, wouldn't it?
