New Hylight cabinet stacks -OT

Post by SpentMusic »

Hi all,
These are my latested 2 x 12 Hylight cabinets as an off topic eye candy picture. Will need about 16 - 18 watts to keep up with these. Not a bedroom rig. :D

Sweet. Very sweet. 8)

I wish there was a Brit-based cab builder who could turn out such work... :(

I may have whined about that before...

And I'll doubtless whine about it again in the future...

grill cloth on Hylight style cabs

Post by SpentMusic »

Hi Rich,

That is the traditional cane basketweave cloth found on Marshalls. HiWatt used that on a lot of cabinets in the 70 and purchased it fromthe same supplier as Marshall. No doubt added there run to the backend of a run done for Marshall. Tough as nails and very thick. Gives your fingers a big workout to put on tight.
