adding a 2nd 12ax7

hi all

a while ago i bought a kit from Ampmaker via Barry.

i would like to add a 2nd 12ax7 to give me more gain, is this relatively easy to do? if so can anyone point me in the right direction for instructions/details.

the kit was the se5a-5 watt with one 12ax7 and one el84.

That particular amp is a single-ended (SE) amp, and SE amps aren't dealt with by this site. However, SEwatt.com and AX84.com are both good places to discuss it. I suspect the SE5A is actually based on AX84's P1 project amp.
