only one of my channels works! help!

I recently built an 18 watt, but my normal channel does not work. My trem channel works just fine. I've checked, rechecked, triple checked, disassembled and rebuilt, chopstick test...but the normal channel still doesn't work.

When I turn the volume knob, I get a reaction from the speaker (white noise gets louder) but my guitar signal isn't getting through. Based on this description, any obvious answers to my problem?

If you can post a picture, we could take a look and give you better suggestions. Without seeing it, I expect the problem to be at either the normal channel input jack to how that circuit is wired on the first pre-amp valve.
