I've built a few cabs and headshells, and I use leather corners. I buy leather remnants from a local leather shop. About $ 5.00 worth will make 16 to 20 corners. I made a wooden form, then shaped a 1 inch metal strip around it, kind of like an industrial strength cookie cutter. The pattern is a rounded triangle with the sides arched in.
