Seymore Duncan signature 60 OT for 36 watt?

Post by thelamehorse »

I have a Seymore duncan OT from a signature 60 series amp I am wondering if I could use it for a 36er? It was running with 2 6l6s before I pulled it.

It looks like the primary impedance of that OT would be around 5600 ohms, according to http://tdsl.duncanamps.com/show.php?des=6L6GC For a 36W it needs to be around 4k. So that OT doesn't look like a good match for a 36W...
