Hi I need 2 pairs of springs and fittings for the above valves in my
1930 marshall combo. Any ideas where to get them.

I guess you mean the retaining clips. I think you can use the same ones for ECL86/6GW8s as for EL84s, as they're about the same size.

If you want more specific advice about where to buy from, you'll need to give us some clues about where your location. :)

In case anyone's wondering, the 1930 is the Marshall 18W's kid brother. The design is very similar to the 18W Tremolo channel, using a pair of ECL86s for the PI and power stages.

Hi the ones in my other marshalls are two springs with a ring on top,

Both kinds do the same job and work equally well IMO....

Yes thats the springs. I ordered some from e bay. I dont think the small retaining screws will come out of the 1930 so I will try and clip them through the small holes on the base of the valve holders. Gary
