Stupid powertrannie question
Hi!
Yeah! I've got my Graydon kit! I have one question about the PT/110V indicator light. Since I live in Europe the mains is approx. 230V. The indictor light Graydon supplies with his kit is 115V.
Obviously I will use the 240V tap of my PT, but can I run the indicator light of the 120V tap (without frying the light that is...) ???
In other words... If I have the PT connected to the 0 and 240V taps to a 240V mains source, will the 120V tap read 120V???

That's a low blow to us North Americans! Everytime we want to play through the amp, we'd have to clear with the wife since we would have to unplug the laundry dryer to get to a 220v outlet!zaphod_phil wrote:Everyone should know that to make a real Marshall clone, you have to use the same mains voltage as Marshall did!
