How do you engrave panels?

Post by gravitylow »

As I understand it someone is producing front panels by engraving the back side of a gold covered sheet of plastic. How is the engraving done?
I have a non-standard front panel and am wondering if it is possible for me to make a panel for it without spending mega bucks on a CNC machine or such.

Thanks,
Wayne

Wayne...

Jeanne at BNP laser does a great work on these panels at reasonable prices... Send her the pdf format (1:1 scale) of whatever you want...

It is called reversed engaving sinc it is done on the back part of a transparent panel...
