JTM45 repair

This Youtube video shows the repair of an original JTM45 Bluesbreaker which is interesting because it gives a good look inside a close relative to the 18 watt.

a chance that could be the Clapton "beano" amp?

Probably not the same one that Clapton owned, as that one is probably in his personal collection. Most likely a sibling of Clapton's BB; and what a beautiful sound!
I was quite surprised that Stuart Smith didn't seem to know that 47uF is a preferred value cap and not just a random value 8O

I'm not sure what Stuart was trying to say. He must have seen hundreds of them in his day job as well.
