6 position rotary switch on Brown Note Foxy 18
I am trying to understand the logic of the rotary switch on the Foxy 18. I built a Vox-style pedal with a rotary switch with a simple logic where the caps simply increased along the dial and the sound went from bright to dark (originally they went from dark to darker but I changed the cap values to get a wider range). But on the Foxy 18 the positions are also connected by resistors. Then the first four positions make sense, with decreasing cap values, but the fifth goes back up and the sixth goes up even further. If I decide to change those values I'm not sure how. This is always a very helpful forum so I appreciate any info you all have.

If you want help with a specific circuit, you should post the schematic for the circuit you're asking about.
Thanks,
Josh

Apologies, here is a link to the layout (I don't have a schematic) with the six position rotary switch: https://el34world.com/Forum/index.php?a ... 1032;image

Re: 6 position rotary switch on Brown Note Foxy 18
The confusion is a bad layout version. I imagine a schematic would have the correct values (maybe).
There are other versions of that with the caps all going from lower to higher capacitance values. For example: 360p, 500p, .001uF, .002uF, .0047uF, .01uF. The resistors I would guess are to avoid clicking or pop noises. Whomever modified that layout wanted to go up to .02 instead of just .01, but screwed up the values.
Thanks,
Josh

Yes, the resistors are there to eliminate the pop when switching.
