What is the purpose exactly? An EZ81 delivers very little to no sag. The best and easiest way to have some sag on an 18 watt is to add a sag resistor in series of the B+ line. Put a 100 to 200 ohm 10 watt resistor between the standby switch and the first filter cap or cap can. I prefer 150 ohm 25 watt on my amps
It’s an easy, quick and cheap mod. For rectifier sag you need an octal tube like a 5V4 or 5Y3… and they need a 5V secondary tap with 3A current
