Hello,
I am very happy with this amp so far. It makes a loud thump like boom noise for 1 second after the power sw is turned on. I think its a voltage surge to the power tubes or something...however i would like to fix it.
please share your opinion on where to start from.

It does that every time? Can you post a sound clip of this and show us a pic from the power section to start with
