Not sure this is the correct sub, if not, mods please move..

This was not built in 1967, but it sure looks like someone built it from 1967 parts. I dont know how the did the cab. I've seen 6 originals, and it sure looks like the real deal to me.

Anyway, wondering if anyone has info on the builder. According to the article, they? he? has been building new amps out of 100% period correct components

MG = Music Ground, Harrison's who sold lots of fakes pre internet, got busted and are still shady. Its a lash up of less valuable vintage marshalls. probably started off as a Marshall Popular.

I can't imagine laying out +6K for a knock off. I guess there are some folks willing to settle for this type of offering.

I could never live without the TMB channel anyway, especially if using a humbucker equipped guitar.

I've been collecting NOS parts to some day build an 18W entirely with parts from the '60s. I have just about everything ready to go including a pair of Radiospares transformers and an original 1-12 combo cabinet that was recovered by Jeff Swanson. It didn't have any grill cloth so I have a piece of Eric Collins replica grill cloth to go in it. Maybe some day when I'm old and retired... :-)
