18 Watt Modern classic TMB resistors question

Post by 3jaw »

I am ordering parts and getting ready to build the 18 Watt Modern Classic TMB and I noticed a discrepancy in resistor wattages in the power supply between the schematic and the layout. In the schematic the 8.2k and 27k resistors are rated at 2 watts, but in the layout they are shown to be 3 watts. Which is correct?

Thanks,
Greg

Either is fine, use 2W or higher. I use 3W wirewound resistors most of the time (for those specific resistors - 1W CMF for the rest) because that's how the ones I like are available.

Thanks,
Josh

Sounds good. I'll probably have more questions as the build progresses.
