New 36W TMB head up and running

Thank you everyone for the information, support, and advice. I just took a lunch break and visited a tech with a variac, and powered it up for the first time. It's a Ceriatone kit (mustards), trannies from Phil @ Heyboer, tubes from SgtOD (russkies, telams, bels, brimars). This is the Richie layout, drawn up for Nik's kit.

The only issues so far: I wired the mains switches upside down, and two of the input jacks don't work, that part of the layout diagram must've been confusing (or the fact that I did that at 02:30 last week). I'm not sure about the cathode bias yet, but the tech told me to play it for a week and let the amp settle in.

Re: the postings of late about the layout; the PT wiring was a bit challenging, but if you you look at Chris Wu's posting, you should be able to back in to which Heyboer leads are which. Also, on the orientation of the feedback switch, you can figure that out by understanding the mechanics of the switch. I can re-iterate Richie and Nik's advice if anyone needs it.

PROPS to: Richie, for encouragement on building the 36, I look forward to seeing how it works live. Hearing Amercian Minor was helpful, and talking to Bud.

Nik, for the really great board, kit, and communications. Super high quality.

Chris, for the heater wiring diagram, and PT clarification.

SgtOD, for taking care of me with many pieces of high-value glassware. He deserves several war ribbons.

The cabinet arrives from Jeff Swanson on Tuesday, I'll report back next week after rehearsal.

Great to hear you got it going.. yes there are a few things that need to be sorted out between the drawing and the wiring of the Heyboers,and a few things in the power supply wiring. But its not much to figure it out using the Heyboers.
I'm sure for a newbie it would be confusing though. Keep us posted when you get to play it with the cab..
