tried a couple versions...

Of the 18w stock schematic. First I had it with the 25uf caps on the 12ax7s and a 50uf on the el84s. It sounded good, not too much bass and plenty of high end.
THen I tried 50uf ont eh 12ax7s and 500uf on the el84s. I liked this much better. Huge full bass, the highs didn't hurt my ears, super fat sound. The distortion sounded much better too.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone's debating which way to go.

I suspect the 25 to 50 made little to no difference, and the 50 to 500 was the major effect.
