36W output section, PI is much modified, channel 2 is super-high-gain but I don't care for it. Next time I do something like this channel two will get the preamp I developed from my trainwreck. The main circuit and PI was based on my much modified purple and red amp, which has become a sort of testbed for whatever idea pops into my head. The simplicity of this channel lends itself to such experimental learning, but also left me with a conundrum. It was so convoluted when the customer fell in love with the tone that it still had trimpots in place of some resistors and I had to go blueprint the whole thing to remember where I had left off.
Client is an unnamable lead guitarist in a signed punk band and the amp leaves for a Nationwide tour on Thursday night. The client is unnamable because he's sponsored by some big name manufacturers whose stuff he doesn't use anymore. His rhythm guy plays an old plexi marshall, so we'll see how it keeps up. Call it a trial by fire.

I sorted through all the violet jewels I had to find the lightest one and used the whitest indicator bulb I had. It really looks hot pink when lit up, though that turned out to be difficult to capture on CCD.
