Stand up 36 watter Power Transformer

Any one know where I can get a good PT of the standup variety for my new 36 watt build? I bought a set from Graydon but they are lay down. I'd return them but they look too damn good to send back! I'll just replace the PT and shelve graydons for an inevitable second build!

S2 recommended a Hammond IIWY, but I can find it anywhere. Any one have one in stock they want to sell?

You can get a standup directly from Heybour. I have one on my current 36watt build. I can check the model numbers tonight. I think it is the same as their AC30.

This is the one that i just ordered: HTS-8138

it has center taps for the HV and the Heaters...

Mine doesn't have the CT on the heaters.

Heyboer can probably just send you the stand up bells for the PT you have. Most are convertible.

I just ordered mine a week or so ago and when i got it, it had CT's for both... I wonder if they are making them that way or if i got the wrong one...

Guys,

My 36W PT has lugs like the Vintage PTs and so I don' t think end bells will fit over those. However, I am about to make an order for a batch of 36W standup PTs.

Stay tuned...

Motorboat eh! I should try that on my Glastron.
