Hi,
That's easy!
It's a Fender Bullet Reverb, with BC Rich el-pointy guitar. You also used Monster Cable, 7.5 ft.
The pick is NOS from 1984 Metallica concert, heavy. Strings are GHS Boomers 10s. I might be wrong here, but while recording, you had a Marlboro Light stuck on the headstock, 3/4 burnt.
I think you need to give me the prize now. No one can answer this detailed...

Nik
PS - That's a nice intro. Can I hear the rest?

The prize
The prize? How about a genuine vintage 18 watt combo! Well.....umm maybe not. But how bout a free CD
!?
OK, perhaps this question is a bit unrealistic. For fun, lets make it a bit easier and switch the format to multiple choice.
Heres a couple of hints:
1) Its not a plug in, a modeling amp, or a trick question of any kind.
2) The amp is vintage - made before 1970
3) Its guitar = cord = amp (The guitar was a Gibson Lucille that I had at the time, gutted, with Rio Grande PAF's in it)
Heres the choices -
A) Fender Dual showman head, through vintage Vox 2x12 cab
B) Marshall Bluesbreaker 2x12 combo
C) Gibson Discoverer 1x12 combo
D) Watkins V front Dominator 2x10 combo, through vintage Vox 2x12 cab
Lets get some of the big cork sniffers out to take a stab! Have fun!

Amps
Heres the answer in a pic, which also includes my ugly mellon with a mohawk that got chopped off - ha!. The guy on the left is the studio owner/producer - coolest mofo I know. He owns all the amps (you should see his whole collection) except the red one and the Harry Joyce head that is peeking out near my knee - those are mine. Think we were going for a British sound or what???
Props to dboul, he was dangerously close before the multiple choice.
Anywone wants a free CD just E-mail me your address - keep in mind its just noisy 3 chord punk though so if its not ur cup of tea, take a pass (that intro is just about the only clean guitar on it).
Twigley, we are trying like hell man believe me..its really competitve and we are not even in the "mainstream" music field. We have a couple of colleges playing our stuff in England on the late shows though.
We have a song posted on this board on the bbq section called "I cant play stairway (to heaven)" - Didnt do well on this board though..oh well...On the Les Paul Forum they loved it - over 400 downloads and some funny responses/feedback HAHA OK Till next time
PS I hope the pic comes out I had to lighten the hell out of it cause it was dark in there
I almost got everything together for my build, including a Graydon chassis and trans - cant wait!

I kinda liked that Can't Play Stairway to Heaven song! Although I tend to think that punk was a late 70s/early 80s temporary phenomon which isn't really relevant now - now I'll duck!
Hey, I even once played in a punk band called Executive X - it was a lot of fun at the time. Anyway, don't let Loverocker anywhere near your WEM, or he'll mod it into a Marshall before you can say Dominator!
