Need help locating anodized tube shields

Post by Easto »

I'm sorry I have to ask but I've been surfing all night and I can't find a supplier for gold anodized 9 pin shields. If you know anyone with these or various colors please post a link. I've checked every link in my "parts" favorite list and cannot find any.

Easto... check the yellow pages and see what comes up locally... especially under "aerospace" or "electronics"... My experience (in both fields) was that suppliers want to maximize parts in the bath, so will take "hangers on"... most likely will be black, as colors are more difficult (therefore more $$$) to do, but find someone locally or drop the idea... electro-magnetic chemical deposit stuff... not for the weak of mind... looks cool, but spendy in small volumes... pretty much aluminum alloys...

the only colored ones i have seen were the ones that THD used for the univalve. maybe call them up for some "spare" parts?

Brownote & Highway31

Thanks for the links That guy has some pretty nice stuff. I'm planning out my next build (18watt) and would like to have it as a showcase of my work so it will probably not go in a head and be open for viewing. So anything I can do to make the trannies and tubes present themselves in a professional high end manner would be great.

They don't ship to the US.

Any suppliers here in the USA?
