Were the wreck version schematics ever available here?

Experts - please help me out here. I just bought a 36 watter from someone who says they used schematics from here. Is it possible I'm getting a wreck version of the 36 watt amp and not the 2nd design?

I've been reading some other posts that reference the original design. It it possible my builder was here early and got rev 1 being the wreck version?

Or can I sleep easy tonight?

The 36 watter layouts that have been available here were all based on the TMB variant and a plexi-ish normal channel. When the idea of the 36 first came up way way back, folks that were experienced builders may have come up with their own normal channel circuits but as far as the released layout, it's always been Richie's design which was more on a plexi tip...the trainwreck was something he experimented with on his own but that wasn't on any released layouts to my knowledge....not that it would matter, I'm guessing a "wrecked" 36 would sound just as insane (if not hairier) as the standard version.

You could email the guy you bought it from and ask him specifically if he built it stock based on the current layout here or if he made any mods. If he didn't, you can probably rest well. If he built it off MarkH's schematic with Richie's tweaks, that was put together based on the current layout with just some value changes to tighten it up.

I have a schematic of an 18 watt TRex that I got here a while ago. It was drawn by Richie. And there are a couple of sound files in the RICHAMP section that were made on a TRex, a 36W if I remember correctly.

Richie is the one that knows about this for sure.

Those clips are the 36 but it was after Richie replaced his wreck circuit with the standard one that's in the layouts. There is an 18 watt t-rex out there but afaik, one was never made/released for the 36 unless someone did it on his own.

Ok, if I understand correctly, there are no TRex clips anywhere here, even if "TRex" appear in the clips name. And this is so just because this particular amp hosted a trainwreck circuitry before.

yes that is correct .. but as i posted over on the other post..lol
this clip Mark Huss uses his Trex on the middle lead parts.. which i believe the layout and schematic is on his site. And this amp you hear in the clip for the lead parts in the middle of the song..are the more Wreck inspired circuit melded with the 18 watter.. So you can hear what the amp sounds like.. maybe if we ask nice..Mark might do a few clips of that amp he has..
and post them.. it sings like a bird..
