Im building an 18w Champ right now - a Champ based on a 18w Marshall you say - nah..... its a Champ with a JCM800 preamp though, and 3 6v6's in paralell. I was going to Super Scale it but I cant afford the trannie set right now! Super Scaling {if it really does do what its supposed to} really could solve the problems of these small volume tubes {v6's and others}without having to cram heaps of them into your chassis to make it go Boom!
- but the jury is out as Ive never heard one in action and cant find anyone who has.
I'll post some soundclips when Im done - I have a selection of 6v6s too, including a couple types of Mullards some RCAs etc - I can do comparison clips.

There's a dual 6V6 in parallel over on the Angela website. I think it's called the Super Single or something like that. Schematic is posted there too. Even runs dual parallel rectifiers. Looks like an interesting build, but I wonder if it would be as good as one 6L6 single-ended. Let us know how 3 6V6's in parallel turns out!

Two parallel 6V6s Single Ended is a great sound. I have an old Gibson Gibsonett and it is like a champ with an extra 6V6 tube and a 10" speaker. Great tone. There's also a Weber kit that is parallel 6V6s, designed by Bruce at Mission amps.

2 6V6 parallel SE Vs 1 6L6 SE is a lot fuller with a rounder top and more complex mids.
