Well,

If that doesn't work out there is always golf tomorrow and the Blues and Brews festival later this week. John Richardson of the Blue Mercy band may be using my S2 Blues jr for his gig in front of 8 thousand folks.

I have no opportunity to crank any amp, not even the Champ during band rehearsal.

I 'am used to do it like that, so to me it's no problem at all

I also like some form of tone shaping ability, the Champ doesn't have any and I do miss that

Spend some time to redesign the champ to your own needs Marco.
Thats is what I do basicly when a amp is not sounding right.
Works fine for me and most of my customers. After that you don't need TMB controls anymore and a simple tone contol is more than enough.
Ever tryed to get the tone you realy want with a Mess a Boogie   :?: :?: ?

Where do you live in the Netherlands Marco?
Would be nice to know.

Henk,

Hi Henk,

I'll try to get the darn thing to work first, but I haven't done any amp stuff this week, didn't get 'round to it.

I live right above Amsterdam. You live in Limburg, right? I've looked that up already, thinking it might be fun to hear the Crest amp in the flesh! :P It's a bit far away, but who knows, I could pay you a visit someday.
