Heyboer - Mammond

Helo, I`m going to make 36Watt. Can somebody tell me what hammond transformers have characteristics like Heyboer PT and OT for this amp. Problem is that I want to know all Characteristics because my friend makeing transformers and in all my amps I have his `hand made` transformers.

does your friend happen to have the turns ratios and transformer sizes used? details on the magnet wires and others...

anybody made a DIY tranny?

my location makes it economically unreasonable to order OT and PT. but transformer raw materials are easy to find here.

for an 18 watt you dont need such a heavy guage, 29AWG would suffice. Remember, if you are using a tube rec. you need 2 equal windings with a CT.

Use Hammond 270HX PT and the 1645 OT.
