240 VA tranny

Hi guys,
I've got this 240 volt isolation transformer rated at 1 amp. I was just wondering what I could use it for. It's non centre tapped, so I would have to use a bridge rectifier. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from my calculations for a bridge rectifier into a capicitor load, I would get roughly .6 x 1 amp or 600 milliamps @ 340v from 240 supply availlable.
I would be using a seperate filament and bias tranny.
If any of you had such a large tranny, what would you use it for?
I had ideas of a twin 36er with either 84's or 6v6's.
