36 watt Chassis Progress !!!

Post by stevesuk »

Using the standard'ish dimensions e.g. 20" X 6" ish X 2 1/2" I have punched 8 valve base holes, evenly spaced.

Photograph attached, it gives 2 1/4" between centres which is about the same as the standard 18 watt.

Yes nice start.. i should have trannys by early next week...
Then i'll have the board ready by the time my chassis get here..
but like you, i'll be taking more time, laying out the chassis, and punching the holes.. I believe i'll also build the head type first.. I have both a head and combo chassis.

I have a blank 17.5 x 6.5 x 2.5 Head Chassis. Does anyone think this will work for a 36watter???

yep it should work fine. I mounted my cap can along the side end piece, also useing stand up mount trannys gives you more room under the board. the 36 watt kick butt!! This has turned out to be one of my more favorite amps.
