Roy Blankenship 18 watt animal

I played a Roy Blankenship 18 watt "Pure Bred " head today. Tried this amp for the second time. All I can say is these little amps are EVIL, MEAN, and will most likley convert me from carrying large amps around for much longer! I am am new to this small amp thing, but I am very impressed. Do they all gowel like this, or are the average 18 watters cleaner. This really breaks up great. I played it thru a Marshall cab w/ 25 watt Celestions, and also into a Savage open backed cab w/ Marshall "Blues". The alnico speakers really sounded outstanding with this amp. When I build one , it will have to have the alnicos.
